This Hernando County animal shelter is running out of money and says it will have to close its doors if the community doesn't pitch in.

   The organization says several of its key donors have retired and are no longer able to contribute financially. Because of this they are reaching into reserve funds in order to continue operating. If you would like to help out, call the shelter at 352-796-2711.
